FailtalPRO’s HF146R 1.4" compression horn driver uses a radial neodymium slug motor design to pack as much BL product into the voice coil gap as possible. When combined with the ketone polymer dome diaphragm, the HF146R produces smooth, neutral sound over a broad range (from 700 to 18,000 Hz). Similar to FaitalPRO’s HF146, the HF146R has a slightly longer voice coil winding depth to provide lower power compression and better dynamics when pushed to its limit.

The high energy motor is also responsible for output up to 111 dB with only one watt of input power, with a 109 dB average sensitivity, while keeping the total weight of the driver under five pounds. Built with an annular phase plug. Made in Italy.
