KingCord® Polyester Bungee Cord, also commonly referred to as shock cord or stretch cord, is an elasticized black cording that offers a smooth, consistent stretch up to 100% of its original length. Versatile 1/4" diameter is also ideal for use as a kayak shock cord, and other various tie down uses while camping, hiking, canoeing, even at home or on the job. This durable waterproof shock cord is also well suited for water sports. Manufactured with a multi-strand rubber core and a marine-grade polyester cover, it resists cracking, splitting, general abrasions, and degradation from UV rays, better than polypropylene bungee cording. Do not use for overhead lifting. Never exceed the Safe Work Load (SWL).
